- Can't publish or create new page in WP version 4.3
Upgraded to version 4.3 of wordpress and now I can not create any new pages or publish any changes to existing pages.
I also get the following messages from the Woothemes helper:
Your theme (FirmaSite Base) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.
Tomorrow (maybe tonight), there will be an update. Thanks for reporting and sorry for problems.
Uhm.. A bug fix theme update is already released.. Probably your cache prevents seeing it. Just wait 3-5 hours
Cool to see this being fixed so quickly, thanks.
Will this update also be for the Base Firmasite theme or just the regular free one?
Sucks that WP changed so much for 4.3.
Both theme got update but FirmaSite need approve from WordPress.Org theme before it appears in your panel, so 4-5 days later you can see it.
This bug fix version is not fixing all things. You can count this as critical bug fix version and there will be a new version soon that fix other things.
No updates have shown for Firmssite Base which is what I am using. There is no issue with CACHE as I am getting other updates from other plugins.
Is there any way to apply this fix manually? I can not wait 4 or 5 days – I have had these websites down for over a week and this is delaying direct marketing plans that have been previously scheduled.
Your site connects to firmasite.com and check if there is an update then caches the result. That cache can be sit in there like half a day. This is normal. If you cant wait for cache expire, you can force check update or you can manually download latest version from your shop account in our website.
Btw, its low possibility but your server maybe cant connect to our server. If you dont get an update notification in 24 hours, we will check this.
Well.. you can extract files and manually upload to wp-content/themes folder. I think your server have problems. Did you successfully update before?
I think this might be an internal issue @Kevin. The WP update showed for me.
